And with a single flash of my creative licence, Crobat suddenly looks so much cooler. Although, the poor dear should see a dentist about that class two overbite.

The original lineart better shows small details, which have become lost in layers of pencil.

I have a fairly good grasp of the ol' Polys now, and do rather like them. It's all in the technique, how smooth the application of colour is.

Only aspect of this I don't much like is the over-use of the white of the paper to indicate highlights.

Same. I spend quite a bit of time scouring caves for a low-leveled, Timid/Modest-natured Zubat at the beginning of every game. I actually came across a lvl. 10, Timid Golbat in Platinum, which both surprised and delighted me.
